The mission of Joye in Aiken is to support the advancement of the performing arts and serve the community by (1) educating the public to appreciate the highest level of artistic performance; (2) inspiring new generations of both audiences and performing artists through concerts, staged productions, classes, workshops and lectures; (3) giving young artists an opportunity to serve society by reaching out to audiences that are economically and ethnically diverse; and (4) providing established artists the opportunity to become involved with arts education and to pursue new directions in their own disciplines.
